The Opportunity:

This is an onsite position th is based out of our Abbott Park, IL locion in our CHR Corpore Human Resources division.

The Associe Architect, Integrions plays a key role in Implementing, supporting and advancing Abbott’s Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) ecosystem within the HRTS HCM Architecture team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain integrions th connect Workday with a wide range of internal and external systems. You will partner closely with functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions, resolve integrion issues, and ensure the stability and scalability of our HR technology landscape.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives in a collaborive environment, and is passione about delivering reliable, well‑engineered integrion solutions.

Wh You’ll Work On

• Design, develop, and support integrions and reports between Workday and third‑party applicions.
• Build integrions using Workday technologies including Core Connectors, Packaged Connectors, Workday Studio, and EIBs.
• Collabore with project teams, including Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and offshore resources, to deliver integrion components for HR initiives.
• Support the full integrion lifecycle—requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Partner with Integrions Manager on system analysis, optimizion efforts, and architectural improvements.
• Cree and maintain technical documention, including integrion specificions, da flow diagrams, and operional procedures.
• Provide on‑call support and ensure timely resolution of integrion‑reled incidents.
• Maintain SLAs for operional tickets and ensure adherence to established support guidelines.

Required Qualificions

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 7-8 years of hands‑on experience developing and supporting Workday integrions.
• Strong communicion, collaborion, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Solid understanding of HR processes and Workday HCM concepts.

Preferred Qualificions

• Familiarity with SaaS architecture and integrion pterns, including SOAP, REST APIs and Orchestrions.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, ETV, XTT, JSON, HTML, JAVA
• Proficiency with development and testing tools such as Workday Studio, Oxygen, Postman, or SOAP UI.
• Experience with Workday Extend is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Workday integrion tools, including EIBs and Core Connectors.

The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locions, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
