1968-78 AMC Javelin AMX, Rebel, SC/rambler Clutch Z Bar Plastic Idler Bushing - Outer and Inner
1968-78 Clutch Z Bar Plastic Idler Bushing - Outer and Inner. Designed, manufactured and machined right here in Wisconsin with the same material as the original.
American Motors brand new, reproduction. 1968-78 AMC Clutch Z Bar Plastic Idler Bushing. This is designed for Javelin, AMX, Rebel, SC/Rambler, Hornet, Gremlin, Machine, Ambassador and Matador. Basically all models except the Pacer. This part was based on an NOS sample and made from the same nylon material as the original.
The fit to the ball stud is very nice compared to some of the others that I have seen through the years, that just flex and fall off. The others were wearing out pretty quick which is one of the reasons I made these high quality ones. They are made out of a harder plastic and once installed, you will need to use a small screwdriver in the slots to pry it off (just like the originals).
On 67-69 models this is the inner and outer idler bushing (takes 2). On 70-78 models this in the inner idler bushing (only one required). See the last two pics for the location.
