Extreme full race 390 motor built in the 70’s following the specifications stated the AMC American Performance Style booklet.
Built to Mode 3 and Mode 4 specifications with many racing parts as stated in the booklet. Some parts are;
- Roller cam ~ 0.639 lift, roller lifters with Crane roller rockers
- High compression pistons ~ 13:1
- AMC heads #319 6291 with O-Ring copper wire
- Jamarcus rocker stud girdles
- Milodon deep sump oil pan with external braided dual feed lines
- Mallory dual point distributor
Bottom end has not been inspected to state modifications however it easily runs to 7000 rpm.
This is a rare, one of a kind AMC survivor drag race motor.
