Full-Time Lead for Small Flooring Warehouse
We are a family-owned and operated flooring company with 50 years in business, seeking a reliable and hands-on Full-Time Warehouse Lead for our satellite warehouse near Milwaukee.
Because this is a single-person warehouse, the ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and able to manage operations independently, with remote oversight from our main office.
Hours:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and staging materials
• Cut carpet and handle flooring materials as needed
• Stage daily work orders and oversee installer loading
• Operate a forklift (experience required; certification a plus)
• Perform occasional deliveries to job sites
• Maintain accurate inventory records with strong attention to detail
• Email paperwork and updates to office personnel daily
• Keep warehouse clean, efficient, and safe
Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Experience in a warehouse or flooring environment preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently (self-motivated)
• Dependable, punctual, and organized
Compensation
• Starting between $23–$24 per hour, depending on experience
• Telephone stipend and mileage reimbursement
• Paid holidays and Paid Time Off
• 401(k) with 3% employer contribution after 1 year of employment
• Company health insurance available, with employer paying 50% of the premium for employees
